Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a Network Security Administrator to provide boundary protection support for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. The role involves installing, monitoring, and maintaining security systems to protect network resources from threats, as well as performing complex analytics on boundary protection systems.

Responsibilities

Install, monitor, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, patch, harden, maintain, and operate intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, load balancers, and web proxies to protect AFNet resources from both internal and external threats according to DoD security standards

Perform complex analytics on boundary protection systems to protect system assets from compromise, data loss, and other requirements

Perform DCO and DODIN operations

Required

5+ years experience in network administration and support

HS diploma or GED

Must be Security+ certified

Must hold one of the following certifications or be able to obtain within 90 days of hire: Palo Alto Network Security Professional; Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA); Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA)

Experience with enterprise DOD boundary protection and CSSP operations

Extensive experience with enterprise level network architectures and configurations

Able to assess infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions

Experience with network monitoring and management using an automated solution

Extensive experience with security as it pertains to network architecture, desktops, laptops, servers, firewalls, routers, and intrusion detection systems (IDS)

Solid customer service and communication skills

Must be a US Citizen

Must hold a current Secret clearance
