Ninyo & Moore, A SOCOTEC Company is seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer to join their Austin, Texas office. The successful candidate will manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects, working closely with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects
Interact directly with clients and manage project budgets
Coordinate and participate in field activities, including:
Logging borings, test pits, trenches, and cores
Evaluating geologic and seismic hazards
Performing forensic evaluations of distressed structures and failed slopes
Perform engineering analyses, including:
Foundation design and evaluation
Slope stability analysis
Settlement analysis
Prepare geotechnical engineering proposals and technical reports
Provide technical support and mentorship to staff engineers, geologists, and field technicians

Qualification

Required

B.S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Minimum 4+ years of experience in geotechnical consulting
Detail-oriented, team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

M.S. in related field
Familiarity with local engineering practices and Austin-area projects
