Commission-Only Sales Representative – CCTV & Access Control Solutions
Kayla Technology Advisors is focused on providing modern security technology solutions for businesses. They are seeking a driven, self-directed sales professional to identify, develop, and close new business for commercial CCTV and access control projects, emphasizing outbound calling and relationship building.
Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new opportunities via outbound calls, email sequences, site visits, networking, referrals
Build and manage a steady pipeline of qualified commercial prospects
Conduct discovery calls and site walk-throughs to understand needs and risks
Work with engineering/operations to design solutions and pricing
Present proposals, overcome objections, and close deals
Maintain accurate CRM notes, forecasts, and activity reporting
Develop long-term relationships for repeat work and referrals
Stay current on security tech trends and competitor offerings
Qualification
Required
Proven B2B sales experience (security, low-voltage, IT, telecom, construction, or similar preferred)
Strong phone-based prospecting and deal-closing skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
Valid driver's license + reliable transportation
Basic CRM and proposal tool comfort
Preferred
Experience selling CCTV, access control, alarms, or networked systems
Existing book of contacts in commercial property, facilities, or construction
Understanding of RFP/bid cycles and jobsite workflows
