Emerging Tech is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to provide on-site diagnostic imaging services at the VA Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. You’ll play a key role in delivering timely, accurate imaging exams while supporting the VA’s mission-driven healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic (X-ray) exams following VA policies, ARRT standards, and Joint Commission requirements

Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure safe, accurate, and comfortable exams

Operate imaging equipment according to manufacturer specifications and VA-approved protocols

Ensure radiation safety, infection control, and proper use of protective equipment

Review images for quality and completeness before submission for Radiologist interpretation

Document exams and patient interactions in VA electronic health records and PACS systems

Maintain clean, organized, and fully functional imaging rooms and equipment

Collaborate with Radiologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care

Communicate urgent or abnormal findings to Radiologists per VA protocol
