Responsibilities
Make contributions to the team using proper software development procedures and method
Assist in solving complex problems and transform them into business solutions
Participate in code and design reviews
Full stack design and development with a focus on maintainability, usability, scalability and performance
Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for telematics solutions, ensuring safe delivery of features and fixes
Help analyze and translate business and functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications
Provide required support for occasional production issues
Follow the company's development and operational standards and processes
Complete any additional tasks as they arise
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification in Computer Science or related field
Ability to learn quickly and solve complex problems
Ability to collaborate in a team environment
Ability to do general development tasks on Linux
Preferred
Some professional engineering experience preferred
Experience and exposure with some or all of the following: Python, Javascript (NodeJS), any language with transferable skills
AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS
Creating, maintaining: CI/CD pipelines
Containerization technologies (specifically Docker)
Developing web applications (RESTful HTTP backend)
