Business Development Sales Manager

Quantic Electronics is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales and Business Development Manager to lead their sales efforts for ceramic capacitor brands. This role is crucial in driving growth and managing customer relationships in high-reliability markets, particularly in the MLCC sector.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share for ceramic capacitors, including multilayer and single-layer ceramic products
Actively prospect for new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships
Manage and mentor a small inside sales team to achieve revenue targets
Collaborate with other Quantic capacitor businesses, including Quantic Paktron (Stacked Polymer Film) and Quantic Evans (Hybrid Wet Tantalum), to provide comprehensive solutions to customers
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the high-reliability capacitor market
Prepare and negotiate sales contracts, ensuring adherence to company guidelines and legal requirements
Represent the company at customer site visits, industry events and trade shows to promote both Quantic UTC, Quantic Eulex, and our portfolio of capacitor offerings

Required

Proven experience in sales and business development within the electronic components industry, specifically with ceramic capacitors
In-depth knowledge of multilayer and single-layer ceramic capacitors and their applications in Mil/Aero and other high-reliability markets
Strong track record of both hunting for new business and farming existing accounts
Experience managing and developing a sales team
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce preferred) software and MS Office suite
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the aerospace and defense industry
Demonstrated success in lead generation, conversion, and sales closure
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both verbal and written
Proven ability to manage key accounts and exceed sales targets
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems

Preferred

Strong understanding of ceramic capacitors or related electronic components preferred
MBA is a plus
