Denver Water is seeking an Intern for Marketing/Community Outreach Event Coordination. This role involves providing logistical support for community events, engaging with the public, and managing materials for internal and external communications.

Responsibilities

Provide logistic support for Denver Water activation at community events

Provide external communication for event logistics and community engagement requests

Represent Denver Water at community events

Support materials organization and inventory management

Coordinate and procure materials for internal engagement event requests

Develop and promote internal communications to increase awareness and employee participation

Required

Currently a student attending college/university or must have graduated in the last six (6) months

Freshman or Sophomore OR (one or the other) Junior, Senior, or Graduate level student majoring in Public Affairs, Communications or Marketing or Hospitality, or a related field

Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook

Current Colorado driver's license “R”, with a satisfactory driving record required

A background check including education and criminal history

Driving is required; we'll also request a motor vehicle background check

A pre-placement clinic appointment which may include a physical, drug and alcohol test, strength test, and worker's compensation background test
