Responsibilities
Advise corporate policyholders on complex insurance coverage issues and strategic risk management
Represent clients in insurance recovery litigation across state and federal courts, as well as in domestic and international arbitration forums
Handle all phases of disputes involving property, liability, D&O, cyber, and other commercial coverage lines
Participate in mediations, negotiations, and settlement discussions aimed at maximizing client recoveries
Work collaboratively with partners and team members to deliver exceptional client service
Qualification
Required
3–6 years of experience representing policyholders in insurance coverage and recovery matters (policyholder-side experience is essential)
Strong academic credentials and a record of excellence in legal analysis and advocacy
Exceptional legal writing, research, and oral communication skills
Ability to manage complex cases and work effectively with clients and colleagues
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admission to the New York Bar
Preferred
Deep understanding of insurance coverage from the policyholder perspective
Superior communication, negotiation, and litigation skills
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Proven ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines
