Promega Corporation is seeking a skilled technical writer to join their growing organization. In this role, you will create user content and product documentation to enhance product clarity and usability while collaborating with various departments.

Responsibilities

Understand and comply with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements applicable to our business

Work with Product Managers to plan, develop, organize, write, and edit operational procedures and manuals

Create and maintain a centralized, comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation

Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content

Manage updates and revisions to technical literature

Maintain brand consistency by working closely with marketing and referencing brand standard guidelines

Update outdated documentation to meet our current brand standards and terminology

Assist with copywriting projects that are technical in nature, but fall outside of user manuals, spec sheets, and other product documentation as needed

Demonstrates inclusion through their own words and actions and is accountable for a safe workspace. Acts with kindness, curiosity, and respect for others

Required

Currently seeking an associate or bachelor's degree with a focus on technical writing or related field

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in MS Office

Strong attention to detail

Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences

Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking

Demonstrated proficiency in digital tools and technology, including Microsoft applications and mobile platforms, with the ability to adapt and leverage emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, to improve efficiency, automation, and collaboration

Preferred

Experience in healthcare and/or life sciences

Proficiency in use of Adobe CC (In Design, Illustrator, Acrobat)

Previous technical writing experience and able to provide examples of work
