The role involves supporting complex infrastructure, cloud, and security projects while collaborating closely with clients and managing project delivery from design to implementation.

Responsibilities

Review project scopes and participate in technical pre-sales discussions

Design infrastructure and network solutions aligned with security best practices

Provide input on timelines, hardware/software requirements, and implementation strategy

Execute IT projects including:

Microsoft 365 and Azure migrations

SharePoint setup and data migrations

Server and network infrastructure deployments

Firewall and VPN installations

Backup, disaster recovery, and security solution rollouts

Act as the technical lead during project kickoff and client update meetings

Provide clear project status updates to internal teams and client stakeholders

Deliver end-user training and documentation when required

Ensure smooth handoff to service desk and proactive support teams post-implementation

Adhere to change control, documentation, and quality standards

Maintain complete and accurate project documentation in IT Glue and ConnectWise

Ensure configurations, credentials, diagrams, and network details are fully documented

Conduct thorough internal handoffs to service teams with full knowledge transfer

Required

10+ years of hands-on IT engineering and project delivery experience

Strong background in infrastructure, networking, cloud services, and security

Proven experience leading and executing client-facing IT projects

Deep experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure migrations

Experience with firewall configuration, VLANs, VPNs, and network deployments

Strong virtualization experience (VMware and/or Hyper-V)

Comfortable explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Strong documentation habits and experience with tools like IT Glue and ConnectWise

Preferred

Azure infrastructure and cloud services experience

Email migrations including tenant-to-tenant Microsoft environments

Message tracing and troubleshooting mail flow issues

Firewall configuration and VLAN design

VPN setup and troubleshooting

Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, networking, and cloud platforms
