Responsibilities

Perform formal and informal testing on IBCS Product Line subassemblies and major end items at the Enhance Production and Integration Center (EPIC) in Madison, AL

Testing includes a combination of manual and automated tests

Accurately troubleshoot test anomalies and report findings clearly and concisely within the production tracking system

Requires ability to analyze complex engineering drawings

Brief the customer on anomalies found throughout production

Develop and maintain test documentation (checklists, procedures, and Test Readiness Reviews)

Assist in developing and maintaining configurations on Cisco and other COTS network equipment and radio hardware

Work with multidisciplinary team to develop and improve automated test tools

Support IBCS and other manufacturing efforts at EPIC, as needed, to meet schedule and surge efforts

May require extended hours and/or weekend work

Required

For a level 3: Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years (or Master's with 3+ years) in systems and test engineering or 9 years with a high school diploma of experience in test engineering

Level 4: for a level 3: Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years (or Master's with 5+ years) in systems and test engineering or 12 years with a high school diploma of experience in test engineering

Active Secret security clearance

Current Security+ certification

Proficient with Cisco network configuration and administration, as well as RHEL systems

Skilled in writing technical documents such as test plans, procedures, and reports

Familiarity reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Strong hardware and network troubleshooting and problem-solving

Ability to communicate technical details to internal and external customer

Adaptable to high-pressure, dynamic environments

Able to lift at least 30 lbs
