Responsibilities
Create high-quality motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for in-game presentation, broadcast graphics, social media platforms, digital campaigns, and special events
Collaborate with the creative team, marketing department, and production staff to develop concepts that align with the Avalanche’s brand identity and messaging
Design and animate graphics for video content, player intros, promotional videos, highlight packages, and other multimedia assets
Stay up-to-date with current design trends, tools, and industry best practices to ensure our visual content remains innovative and engaging
Adapt and optimize graphics for different platforms, including TV broadcasts, social media, websites, and in-arena displays
Support live game visual production and troubleshoot graphics during broadcasts and events as needed
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality
Maintain an organized archive of assets and files for efficient workflow and future use
Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for new initiatives and concepts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Animation, Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field
3+ years of experience creating motion graphics and visual effects, preferably for sports, broadcast, or entertainment industries
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other relevant design tools
Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality motion design work and storytelling ability
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
Preferred
Knowledge of broadcast graphics workflows and live production environments is a plus
