Responsibilities
Work with the ViiV Healthcare Clinical Pharmacology team and collaborate with other R&D and Global Medicine groups
Gain cross-functional experience in clinical pharmacology, clinical research, drug development, and scientific communication
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Doctorate in Pharmacy
Must be able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the duration of 12 week internship (May/June ~ August 2026)
Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a BS or MS degree program. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible
Completed at least two years of the professional degree program (PY2) with an interest in clinical research and the pharmaceutical industry
Must be self-directed and self-motivated
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and scientific research skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, good organizational abilities, and evidence of leadership and teamwork skills
Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check prior to assignment target start date
Completion of the GSK Digital Assessment is required to proceed in the application process
Preferred
Knowledge of pharmacokinetic principles, clinical research, or previous experience in pharmaceutical industry or academic research lab a plus
Experience with computing software such as R, Phoenix, SAS, MATLAB, etc. are a plus but are not required
