Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for batch and real-time processing

Work with distributed data processing tools such as Spark and Hive

Build and orchestrate workflows using Airflow or equivalent orchestration tools

Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across all systems

Optimize queries and pipelines for high performance and scalability

Contribute to big data architecture design and implementation

Lead performance tuning efforts for large-scale data systems

Implement and support data governance , security, and compliance practices

Explore and integrate AI-driven data processing methods where applicable

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, BI, and data science

Qualification

Required

6-12+ years of experience

Strong hands-on skills in SQL

Experience with modern data engineering tools

Experience ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance across all systems

Experience optimizing queries and pipelines for high performance and scalability

Experience contributing to big data architecture design and implementation

Experience leading performance tuning efforts for large-scale data systems

Experience implementing and supporting data governance, security, and compliance practices

Experience exploring and integrating AI-driven data processing methods where applicable

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including analytics, BI, and data science

Graduate-level degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field
