Responsibilities
Handle plaintiff-side employment law matters, with a focus on wage & hour and class/representative actions
Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery
Conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations
Work closely with clients, experts, and co-counsel
Assist in developing case strategy from pre-litigation through trial (as applicable)
Stay current on California and federal employment law developments
Qualification
Required
3–10 years of experience practicing plaintiff-side employment law
Strong experience with wage & hour class actions
Active and good-standing California Bar license
Solid litigation skills, including motion practice and discovery
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with PAGA and class certification matters
Trial, arbitration, or evidentiary hearing experience
Background working in a fast-paced plaintiff-side practice
