Operator, Warehouse, Packaging, Shipping (WPS)
Cabot Corporation is a leading global specialty chemicals and performance materials company headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. They are seeking Warehouse, Packaging, Shipping (WPS) Operators to ensure proper operation of packaging systems, filling bags, loading, and performing minor maintenance on equipment. The role requires a safety-minded, self-motivated individual who can work rotating shifts and effectively engage with site personnel.

Responsibilities
Ensure proper packaging/bagging, storing, labeling, loading and unloading of the final products
Models Cabot values of integrity, respect, excellence, and responsibility
Interacts professionally with site personnel, visitors, contractors, and individuals at all levels of the Cabot organization
Follows work instructions, procedures, and policies
Work different shift schedules and overtime when required, able to respond to call outs, as well attending required safety training (off-shift)
Move railcars with switch engineer (trackmobile)
Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot the process
Collect final product samples for quality control testing
Actively supports efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Care® Management System and ISO Management Systems in line with the requirements of the RC14001® and ISO9001 technical specification
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical Excellence. Knowledge of troubleshooting, problem solving, process control, and process improvements
Ensures compliance with all work instructions, procedures, policies, standards, regulations, and industry best practices (OSHA, RC14001, ISO 9001, PSM)
Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, aerial work platforms, and switch engine (trackmobile)
Ability to effectively engage in verbal and written communications that are timely, concise, clear, and relevant
Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Accurate and consistent in performing tasks
General mechanical aptitude
Strictly follows and complies with all SH&E procedures, standards and regulations
Constantly strives for Excellence in the fields of sustainability and Safety, Health, and preservation of the Environment
Familiar with topics such as Process Safety Management (PSM), safe work permitting, lockout/tagout, emergency response, and hazard recognition
