Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable Java-based microservices
Implement RESTful APIs and backend solutions leveraging Spring Boot
Develop efficient data access layers using MongoDB
Integrate and manage messaging workflows with Kafka
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements
Review, optimize, and refactor code for better performance and maintainability
Drive best practices in coding, testing, and deployment pipelines
Utilize GitHub Copilot and other AI-powered tools to enhance development productivity
Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of continuous learning
Maintain high standards of security, reliability, and scalability
Qualification
Required
8+ years of professional Java development experience
Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and associated Spring Projects
Extensive hands-on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
Proven expertise with Kafka or similar message brokers
Experience designing and implementing Microservices architecture
Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git/GitHub
Practical experience with AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Strong problem-solving abilities and collaborative mindset
Excellent communication skills
Preferred
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Exposure to scripting, automation, or other programming languages is a plus
