Responsibilities
Lead the installation of complex communications systems, including supporting subsystems across various environments- This includes setting up equipment, antennas, and cabling, as well as lighting on towers and buildings
Work comfortably at heights of up to 50 feet using ladders, bucket trucks, and man lifts
Oversee comprehensive logistical support tasks encompassing asset management, inventory control, configuration, and change management for advanced radio and networking equipment
Manage and maintain the interface of network and radio communication systems, ensuring seamless operation and integration of supporting and peripheral systems
Install, maintain, upgrade, and document various low voltage power systems such as power-over-ethernet devices, CCTV, VoIP phones, security systems, routers, switches, wireless access points, antennas, GPS devices, etc
Qualification
Required
Must possess an active DoD issued Secret Clearance
Must possess for Comptia Security+ certificate or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
Must possess a valid CA driver's license (a company car will be provided)
3-5 years of experience working with RF and networking technologies
Experience with the termination of CAT6, coax, and other low voltage cable types
Demonstrated ability to work and coordinate with a team across multiple disciplines
Advanced troubleshooting skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office365 products: Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Proficient with Teams & Visio
Must possess the ability to: assemble briefs, compose technical documents such as policies and procedures, and draft reports
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, and must be a team player
Preferred
Working knowledge of basic networking protocols - LAN, VLAN, DNS, OSPF, IPsec, VPN, VoIP, SNMP
Drafting, updating, and managing documentation for RF and networking systems
Preferred RF equipment experience: General Dynamics, L3 Harris, Thales, Motorola Astro25, Aviat Microwave
Preferred IT equipment experience: Dell, Juniper, Synology, Media Converters, Perle, IOT and SCADA devices
