Responsibilities

Direct engineering teams and coordinate with operations, project management, quality, and other management teams to ensure efficient delivery of projects

Serve as the Chief Engineer for all projects, ensuring design integrity, compliance with engineering standards, and technical excellence

Develop and manage resource allocation plans; monitor workload distribution and adjust engineering team schedules to meet project demands

Oversee engineering operations execution to meet project requirements

Act as a technical liaison with clients; participate in project meetings and provide engineering expertise

Establish and maintain engineering best practices, tools, templates, and guidelines for project execution

Lead planning for small to mid-level projects across all life cycle phases (startup, interim, closeout)

Track project with the project manager and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays

Identify technical and engineering operational issues, facilitate resolutions, and escalate as needed to ensure project success

Drive technical innovation and recommend solutions to optimize processes and improve efficiency

Prepare and analyze engineering project status reports; communicate progress and risks to stakeholders

Identify opportunities with existing clients and new prospects; report findings to leadership

Provide detailed engineering inputs, hours estimates, and scope definition in support of proposals

Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support organizational goals
