Certified Test Technician

Responsibilities

Perform acceptance test to government specifications on automated and manual test equipment
Operates, cleans, and performs preventative maintenance on rotating and stationary equipment
Assist in the diagnoses of missile and section level test failures for disposition and/or rejection
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of manual and automated test systems
Assist in the writing and implementation of new procedures as required
Provide testing guidance to new technicians
Assist Engineering in design changes and upgrading of automated and manual test systems
Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
Enters technical information into computer tracking system for the purpose of record keeping and preventative maintenance; uses a computerized maintenance management system
Maintains all required certifications to perform job assignments, which includes maintaining assembly certifications
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Required

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience
Experience working in manufacturing or operations
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Associate Degree or at least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
