Lynch Consultants, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Financial Analyst with Department of Defense (DoD) financial management experience to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and operational support to a government comptroller organization while developing your expertise in federal financial management and fiscal execution.

Responsibilities

Support the preparation and analysis of financial reports to enhance decision-making
Review and analyze Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs); identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
Maintain and update SharePoint-based financial tracking systems
Extract and analyze data from enterprise systems such as ADVANA to support execution tracking and de-obligations
Assist with fiscal year-end closeout and process improvement initiatives
Provide organizational and administrative support to the comptroller’s office

Required

U.S. Citizenship
Active Secret Clearance
3+ years of experience specific to DoD Financial Management
Strong understanding of DoD financial operations
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Preferred

Experience with GFEBS and DAI systems
Knowledge of fiscal year-end closeout and financial tracking processes
Ability to support year-end closeout activities
Comfortable working independently, multitasking, and applying sound judgment in support of financial operations and execution activities
