Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance Officer responsible for providing advisory to Lines of Business, primarily Asset Management and Investor Services
Provide regulatory guidance on new product development, strategic initiatives, and exercise credible review/challenge
Lead and manage regulatory exams and any associated remediation efforts
Analyze existing and proposed legislation, regulatory announcements and industry practices and support business units to develop and implement relevant procedures and/or controls
Create, implement, and update policies and procedures to align with the Compliance Risk Management Framework
Conduct risk assessments and monitoring to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them
Develop and Conduct training on relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Oversee remediation of gaps identified in testing or monitoring and support issue management development
Based on changes in the business work environment, job responsibilities can change, and additional functions and tasks may be added or removed accordingly. Additionally, this position will perform other duties as required and participate in special projects as deemed necessary and appropriate by Management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
10+ years of relevant work experience
Strong Knowledge of Banking Regulations
Experience Managing a team
Strong communication skills both verbal and writing, with attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and a fast learner
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other Office products
Must be versatile, able to work effectively, independently, and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Detailed oriented, possess a high level of attention to detail and quality of work product
