Business Development Assistant
Cyrano Brands is a private-label brand development company that collaborates with influencers to create customized product brands. They are seeking a Business Development Assistant to manage outreach infrastructure, maintain prospective client data, and support relationship building with clients and the sales team.

Responsibilities
Learn, maintain, and manage Cyrano’s contact and outreach infrastructure using “Smartlead.ai”
Coordinate and manage the contracting process between prospective clients and Cyrano’s legal team, ensuring timely execution and follow-through
Research, implement, and manage client outreach and social media advertising initiatives across platforms such as Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter/X, and YouTube
Build, organize, and maintain high-quality client and prospect lists, ensuring consistent updates and clean data
Schedule meetings and appointments for leadership and business development staff, managing calendars and logistics efficiently
Participate in early-stage prospective client communication, helping build rapport and support relationship development
Conduct research projects related to prospects, markets, or partnerships and organize findings into clear, usable formats (documents, spreadsheets, and presentations)
Proactively monitor outstanding contracts, tasks, and follow-ups to ensure nothing stalls or falls through the cracks
Identify, research, and maintain lists of target companies, decision-makers, and relevant contacts
Collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager to ensure outreach execution, follow-ups, scheduling, and CRM (Smartlead.ai) activity are completed consistently and on time
Support oversight of the prospective client pipeline, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, stages, and progress
Participate in discovery calls, assist with opportunity qualification, and support prospects through early and mid-stage sales conversations
Contribute to the development and refinement of outreach messaging, positioning, and engagement strategies in partnership with the Business Development Manager
Work directly with the Business Development Manager to ensure proposed solutions align with prospective client needs and goals
Represent Cyrano in external meetings, introductory calls, and industry events as needed
Provide operational feedback and insights to improve business development processes and internal workflows
Support the execution of growth initiatives and expansion efforts by maintaining momentum across outreach, follow-ups, and internal coordination
Help ensure business development efforts move forward consistently by anticipating needs, resolving blockers, and driving task completion
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of similar work experience
Supreme organizational skills
Loves talking to people and developing relationships
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Experience communicating with different audiences by phone, video conferencing, and email
Can-do attitude
Dependable and eager to learn
Strong analytical and research skills
Attention to detail
Comfortable with 'managing upwards' to ensure your tasks get done
