Responsibilities
Lead the entire facility across clinical, administrative, and operational areas
Develop and implement strategic goals for growth, quality improvement, and program effectiveness
Ensure alignment with the mission and values of the facility and the broader behavioral health community
Build, manage, and develop a multidisciplinary team
Create and maintain a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high standards of care
Ensure staffing structures support quality care and operational stability
Ensure the delivery of evidence-based, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care
Maintain compliance with regulatory and licensing bodies, including Joint Commission and DPH
Support continuous quality improvement and monitor program outcomes
Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, staffing, billing, and resource allocation
Ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective day-to-day operations
Analyze performance metrics and make data-informed decisions to support sustainability and growth
Represent the facility in the local community and within professional networks
Build strong relationships with referral partners, payers, and regulatory agencies
Advocate for addiction treatment and the facility’s role as a regional leader
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 5–7 years of leadership experience in addiction treatment or behavioral health settings
Proven track record of managing both clinical and operational teams
Strong understanding of substance use disorder treatment models and industry best practices
Skilled in staff leadership, financial oversight, and strategic planning
Confident, team-oriented leader with excellent communication and decision-making abilities
Preferred
Master's in Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, or a related field strongly preferred
Master's (Preferred)
Leadership/Operations: 3 years (Preferred)
Substance Abuse: 4 years (Preferred)
