Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot packaging equipment

Perform routine maintenance and follow production/quality processes

Hand sorting, case packing, pallet stacking, and supply replenishment

Inspect materials, ingredients, and finished products

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on packaging equipment

Execute daily and monthly cleaning tasks per regulations

Maintain compliance with process quality, food safety, and general safety programs

Learn new methods and assist in training as needed

Required

Ability to work first or second shift and overtime as needed

Must pass background check and drug screening, per state and federal guidelines

Communicate effectively in English with team members and supervisors through various channels, including radio, email and in-person interactions

Read and interpret safety and operational instructions

Work collaboratively to meet production goals

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments

Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, often for the entire duration of the shift

Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to clean various equipment and facility areas

Must have good manual dexterity to handle and operate cleaning equipment and tools

Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed to reach high areas and equipment

Must be able to push and pull heavy cleaning equipment and carts

Preferred

High school diploma or GED preferred

Previous food processing experience is a plus
