PGIM Global Services-Analyst, Investment Operations (Hybrid/Newark,NJ/Tampa,FL)
PGIM is the Global Asset Management business of Prudential, dedicated to improving financial services and making a meaningful impact. The Analyst in Investment Operations will support the Derivatives Accounting & Reporting Group by providing accounting, financial reporting, and recordkeeping support for Prudential and its subsidiaries.
Asset Management
Responsibilities
Support the daily processing and monitoring of a wide array of derivative asset types, their cash settlements, and collateral movements
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Statutory, GAAP, and Tax reporting to meet all regulatory filing requirements
Partner with internal clients and business partners to complete various ad-hoc requests and special projects
Identify, implement and perform key controls that will improve overall data quality
Utilize various applications such as PAM(Accounting System), Oracle Ledger, Cognos reports, MS Excel, etc. to analyze data and prepare financial reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor degree required with a major in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or Information Systems preferred
Experience with investment security types is a plus
Strong PC skills with proficiency in MS Excel
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to organize/prioritize tasks and work in a deadline oriented environment
Tight-knit collaboration and interpersonal skills
Good organizational skills, resourcefulness and attention to detail
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task/juggle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Preferred
Knowledge of Oracle General Ledger
Prior background / internship experience in investment management or financial services Industry is strongly preferred
