Responsibilities

Build and manage a high-performing network of contract and core carriers

Develop long-term, contracted capacity through competitive pricing and best-in-class service

Lead and develop a team of carrier sourcing reps focused on repeat partnerships

Establish and track carrier reliability, service, and profitability metrics

Partner with sales, pod leaders, and branch managers to forecast volume and support growth

Monitor capacity trends, fuel, and industry shifts to inform carrier strategy

Provide scalable capacity solutions for bids and new business implementations

Improve sourcing workflows, carrier tech, and data integrity across systems

Ensure carrier onboarding, documentation, and TMS profiles meet all requirements

Required

1–3 years of experience in logistics or transportation

Strong operational understanding of carrier networks and capacity sourcing

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and move fast in changing markets

A professional, ethical, relationship-driven approach
