Make estimates of new and proposed products and recommend cost efficiencies in new product layouts
Communicate problems and propose solutions to senior/peer management
Approximately 80 percent sit and 20 percent involve activities on the shop floor. Some projects may require additional time in the manufacturing area measuring and observing processes
Need to acquire and maintain extensive knowledge of production processes
Knowledge of Time study process
Qualification
Required
College degree in Industrial Engineering/Accounting/Business or at least 3-5 years' experience
Make estimates of new and proposed products and recommend cost efficiencies in new product layouts
Communicate problems and propose solutions to senior/peer management
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as SAP
Strong analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a team
Creative problem solver
Positive attitude and action oriented
