New Grad, Entry LevelOne Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring an HVAC Install Helper/Install Apprentice in Kill Devil Hills, NC. This role offers a great opportunity for individuals who want to learn the HVAC trade while gaining hands-on experience alongside experienced installers.
Consumer Services
Responsibilities
Assist lead installers with HVAC system installations (such as air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, ductwork, etc.)
Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment
Assist with ductwork, basic wiring, and mechanical setup under supervision
Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
Communicate respectfully with homeowners and team members
Qualification
Required
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Interest in pursuing a long-term HVAC career
Ability to work outdoors and in attics/crawlspaces
Physically able to lift and carry HVAC equipment and materials
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check
Preferred
Any experience in construction, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical work
Familiarity with hand and power tools
