As a Power BI Developer, you'll bridge the gap between raw data and business insight, focusing on reporting and visualization while collaborating with stakeholders and data engineers to deliver actionable solutions.

Responsibilities

Analyze complex datasets and transform them into insightful, visually compelling Power BI reports and dashboards

Design and build performant semantic models in Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data accuracy and optimal query performance

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate them into actionable solutions

Work alongside data engineers on pipeline design and occasionally build or modify data flows within Fabric when needed

Create interactive, user-friendly Power BI reports that empower decision-makers

Take responsibility for data curation and preparation to ensure datasets are reliable and ready for analysis

Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration and reporting processes

Stay current with the latest Power BI and Microsoft Fabric features to enhance reporting capabilities

Qualification

Required

1-5 years of experience in business analysis, BI development, or a related field

Proven proficiency in Power BI report development and data modeling

Strong experience with DAX and SQL

Experience with Python or willingness to learn

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to work in an English language environment

Comfortable working afternoon hours to collaborate with US-based clients

Polish and English language proficiency is a must

Preferred

Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouses, Data Pipelines, Semantic Models, Notebooks)

Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and data integration tools

Python proficiency for data transformation or automation tasks

Understanding of data mesh principles and modern data architecture

Knowledge of DevOps practices, Git based code development and version control for BI assets

Experience with data modeling and schema design beyond the semantic layer
