Responsibilities
Collaborates with client, editorial staff, manager and/or other project participants to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message
Assist as a print production coordinator and become proficient in all aspects of printing final products
Conduct market research
Creates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way
Chooses graphics, clip art, and stock photography, as appropriate for client needs within brand guidelines
Work collaboratively and take direction from Senior Graphic Designers
Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples to editorial or other appropriate staff or departments for review
Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process
Adhere to project deadlines
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferred or significant coursework in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Design or related disciplines highly preferred
Two plus years of related work experience highly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with designing on a PC
Must be fully capable of working in Adobe Creative Suite and delivering products within: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, HTML
Online portfolio that demonstrates success in creating engaging digital and print designs
Solid foundation in typography, illustration, iconography, and layout
Must be able to deliver collateral built in print and digitally compatible
Organized with extreme attention to detail
Experience or knowledge in all areas of potential media opportunities
Ability to work independently
Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
Ability to work with employees at all levels throughout the Companies
Ability to follow policies and procedures and maintain client confidentiality
Ability to communicate in a clear, professional and service oriented manner
