In-finite Search Solutions is seeking a Building Controls - Specialist & Lead Service Engineer/Specialist to provide technical service and support for control systems. The role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, project assistance, and leadership in service efforts to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, maintenance, and software updates on control systems

Identify and correct system inefficiencies or malfunctions

Implement upgrades and system enhancements for performance optimization

Monitor service communication channels (phone, email, chat, ticketing systems)

Track and analyze KPIs and service metrics to identify trends and improvements

Respond promptly to incidents, outages, and disruptions to maintain SLAs

Collaborate with technical teams to resolve critical incidents efficiently

Develop and review instrumentation and electrical designs using P&ID drawings

Support hardware procurement and technical documentation

Configure and test control systems, including DDC, PLC, and DCS

Design and program user interfaces, HMI screens, and network configurations

Participate in on-site installations, loop checks, calibrations, and system commissioning

Assist with documentation, testing, and customer training

Serve as a technical contact and build long-term customer relationships

Support sales teams in customer meetings and identify new service opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field, or equivalent industry experience

3+ years of experience working with control system platforms such as Tridium: Niagara N4, Distech: BACnet, LON, Eclypse Controllers, Johnson Controls: Facility Explorer or Metasys, Siemens: Apogee (PXC), Talon, DXR, Desigo CC, or Insight, Rockwell: FactoryTalk Suite, RS Logix/Studio 5000, PlantPAx DCS

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in customer environments

Subject to a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule

Travel required for maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation activities

Work may occur during or outside standard business hours, depending on customer needs
