In this role, you will monitor access points and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents while providing excellent customer service to visitors and employees.

Responsibilities
Control access to the location by verifying the identity and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the logistics and distribution environment
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with security-related inquiries and directions as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the site
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and report any unusual conditions or activities
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client standards
Assist with emergency response activities, such as evacuations or lockdowns, when appropriate and as directed by site procedures
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of security-related experience is required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
