Responsibilities
Understand export control regimes, including EAR-ITAR classifications, ECCN, HTS, and COO determinations
Interpret complex specifications, contracts, and regulatory requirements
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners
Mitigate risks and oversee compliance processes
Proficiency with global trade compliance tools and handle sensitive information confidentially
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract review, trade compliance, or risk management within a corporate environment
Prior experience with export licensing applications
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and with a team
Preferred
Understanding of export control regimes, including EAR-ITAR classifications, ECCN, HTS, and COO determinations
Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex specifications, contracts, and regulatory requirements
Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and with external partners
Demonstrated experience in risk mitigation and compliance oversight
Proficiency with global trade compliance tools
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
Knowledge of international trade laws, specific to US export controls and sanctions
Familiarity with compliance processes related to sales representatives and distributor agreements
