Assembly Mechanic Apprenticeship-Electrical
Boeing is excited to announce the launch of their Assembly Mechanic Apprenticeship program designed to equip aspiring mechanics with essential skills for a manufacturing environment. The program offers on-the-job training in various pathways, including Electrical, where participants will learn to perform tasks such as interpreting drawings, wire routing, and ensuring safety and structural integrity.

Responsibilities
Develop the skills needed to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Complete assignments structured to provide learning experiences that lead to course completion within a skill area
Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the work of an Electrical Assembly Mechanic
Interpret model-based drawings and blueprints
Follow work instructions, Wire bundle routing, wire stripping, terminating, wire bundle splicing, solder sleeves, connector build-up, bundle dressing, Fiber optics, RF cable handling, and bonding and grounding of parts
Identify all required hand tools, parts, and equipment to accomplish defect-free work and ensure structural integrity and safety
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED
Understanding of intermediate math
Basic computer skills
Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
Preferred
Experience using basic precision measuring tools
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
