Convergint Technologies LLC is looking for a full-time Systems Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining IT infrastructure, providing operational support for information systems, and ensuring the security and efficiency of the organization's technology environment.

Responsibilities

Develops, implements, troubleshoots and maintains Server technologies that meet business needs

Analyzes the current business and information technology environments to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions

Deploys, maintains, and troubleshoots internal/external networks

Provides operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment, such as servers, desktops, printers and storage devices

Deploys, supports and maintains domain, SQL, and storage servers

Support and maintain enterprise access control and identity management technologies, including configuration, monitoring, and integration

Maintains Microsoft Active Directory environment

Plans for and responds to service outages and other issues

Maintains security environment and associated endpoints

Performs back up and back up maintenance

Conducts routine audits of systems and software

Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

Required

College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field

Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems

Microsoft Active Directory

Strong analytical skills

Ability to evaluate technology solutions to the business needs of the organization and find the best possible tools to meet those needs

Solid customer focus and ability to work under pressure; self-motivation to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of customers without being prompted

Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
