Responsibilities

Own the end user engineering platform including laptops, endpoints, operating systems, and productivity software
Drive the transition from traditional systems administration or SRE models to a software first, automation driven approach
Define and execute the technical roadmap for endpoint provisioning, configuration, updates, and lifecycle management
Promote strong engineering standards around reliability, scalability, and maintainability
Design and oversee systems that manage large scale macOS, Windows, and Linux environments
Lead development of internal tools and services for device management, automation, and observability
Apply modern configuration management and endpoint tooling to complex global environments
Ensure solutions account for regional requirements, regulatory considerations, and data privacy needs
Lead, mentor, and develop a technically strong engineering team
Balance strategic leadership with the ability to dive deep technically when needed
Establish clear expectations for code quality, design practices, and operational excellence
Partner closely with adjacent engineering, infrastructure, and identity teams
Improve the end to end employee experience across hardware, software access, collaboration tools, and conference room technology
Ensure platforms are intuitive, reliable, and secure
Act as a bridge between engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to align priorities and outcomes

Required

Strong software engineering background in backend, platform, infrastructure, or SRE environments
Experience leading engineering teams in large scale or complex organizations
Hands on experience building or owning systems that manage endpoints or internal platforms
Deep understanding of automation, configuration management, and distributed systems
Proven ability to modernize legacy or operationally focused environments through software

Preferred

Experience owning endpoint platforms across macOS, Windows, and Linux
Familiarity with device management tools and endpoint security concepts
Experience building internal developer or employee facing platforms
Background working in regulated or globally distributed environments
