Customer Site Service Rep I
BASF is a leading chemical company, and they are seeking a Customer Site Service Representative I to join their Coatings team. This role involves providing technical and application expertise at the GM customer plant, ensuring product performance meets customer expectations, and supporting the sales/technical team in problem resolution and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities
Supporting the daily operation of BASF paint products the Automotive Assembly Plant
Providing on-site technical and application expertise of product performance including color management, defect identification, and corrective action if necessary
Assuring product performance meets or exceeds customer expectations and supports business objectives to be our customer’s supplier of choice
Responding to customer requirements, enforcing product quality/performance specification, and supporting new product/application development
Supports the efforts of a BASF sales/technical team to assure value to the customer for product technical support, problem investigation, analysis, and resolution
Managing existing relationships and developing new ones
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma (or GED) required
Have ingrained safety mindset, excellent interpersonal communication skills
Have a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Must be comfortable lifting and moving drums on a regular basis
Have knowledge in following written procedures, work instructions and JSAs
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Leadership potential and flexibility that showcases a willingness to work shifts and weekends when necessary
