Billing Clerk
Sterling Search Partners is assisting a growing manufacturing client in their search for a Billing Clerk. The role involves accurately preparing, processing, and maintaining customer invoices related to manufactured goods while collaborating with various departments to ensure billing aligns with production schedules and contracts.

Responsibilities
Prepare and issue customer invoices based on production orders, shipping documents, and customer contracts
Verify pricing, quantities, freight charges, taxes, and discounts for accuracy
Match invoices with bills of lading, packing slips, purchase orders, and sales orders
Resolve billing discrepancies and coordinate corrections with internal departments
Maintain accurate billing records and customer accounts
Process credit memos, adjustments, and rebills as needed
Assist with month-end close related to accounts receivable
Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and billing statements
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
Support audits by providing billing documentation when requested
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or business preferred
1–3 years of billing or accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, shipping documentation, and inventory terminology
Proficiency in accounting software
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred
