Responsibilities

Design and execute internal IT and security-focused audits aligned to an established information security framework

Evaluate policies, procedures, and technical controls for effectiveness and consistency

Perform walkthroughs, interviews, and evidence review across security, IT, and business stakeholders

Maintain audit schedules and ensure timely completion of audit activities

Draft clear, well-supported audit reports highlighting control gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities

Present findings to security leadership and governance groups in a practical, solutions-oriented manner

Track remediation efforts and validate corrective actions through follow-up testing

Maintain audit documentation in accordance with internal governance standards

Support external assessments, certifications, and customer assurance activities

Act as a trusted partner to information security and risk teams during readiness efforts

Identify patterns, systemic risks, and opportunities to strengthen security processes

Stay current on evolving security standards, regulatory expectations, and audit best practices

Contribute to the ongoing maturity of the internal audit and security assurance program
