Information Technology Support Technician
Netirio is a Managed IT Services company seeking a dedicated IT Helpdesk Technician to join their dynamic IT team. The role involves providing technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining the IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, and in-person
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals
Assist with setting up and managing user accounts and permissions
Provide support for various software applications and tools used within the organization
Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams when necessary
Document and track all support requests and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system
Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed
Educate and train users on IT policies, best practices, and software applications
Perform routine maintenance and updates on computer systems and networks
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems
Familiarity with common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, G Suite)
Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support
Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
