Responsibilities
Develop, modify, and maintain PLC programs using Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, and Siemens safety PLC fail-safe programming
Design and implement control logic for automated process systems
Integrate PLCs with HMIs (e.g., AVENA InTouch), and industrial networks (e.g., Profinet, Profibus)
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
Document control logic, wiring diagrams, and system architecture
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field
3+ years of experience in Siemens PLC programming and industrial automation
Proficiency in TIA Portal, Step 7, and Siemens S7 PLCs
Proficiency with safety PLC and fail-safe programming
Experience with HMI/SCADA development
Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Profibus, Modbus)
Familiarity with DC-DC and AC-DC power distribution
Understanding of safety standards (UL508A, NEC, NFPA 70E) and design best practices for high-density electrical systems
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and P&IDs
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred
Familiarity with vision systems, and motion control
Siemens certification or equivalent training
