Responsibilities

Design, propose, and deliver comprehensive Cisco network infrastructure solutions
Conduct technical discovery sessions
Develop solution architectures
Deliver compelling demonstrations
Create detailed proposals that address complex routing, switching, and security requirements
Provide pre-sales technical support during the entire sales cycle, from initial client meetings through solution design and proposal development
Work with delivery teams to ensure smooth project transitions and successful implementations

Required

Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level Cisco routing and switching solutions, including proficiency with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus platforms, and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
Strong knowledge of Cisco security technologies including firewalls (ASA, Firepower), VPN solutions, ISE (Identity Services Engine), and network access control
Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization technologies and integration with network infrastructure
Proven track record in a client-facing technical sales or consulting role, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering technical presentations to both technical and executive audiences

Preferred

Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIE in Routing & Switching or Security
Experience with artificial intelligence applications in network operations, security analytics, or infrastructure optimization
Familiarity with SD-WAN, cloud networking, and hybrid infrastructure architectures
VMware certifications (VCP or higher)
Experience working large enterprise clients in the Northern Virginia/DC metro area
