They are seeking a Turf Coach to provide onsite and remote support, training, and coaching to franchise owners around the country, ensuring their success and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Travel to franchise locations to provide hands-on training during business launch

Ensure franchisees understand Waterloo Turf’s best practices for sales, installation, operations, and customer service

Conduct training sessions covering installation techniques, materials, and equipment usage

Offer real-time coaching to help franchisees streamline their sales and operations

Assist in problem-solving for installation challenges, customer concerns, or efficiency improvements

Monitor and uphold installation quality standards across all locations (Site Audits)

Identify areas for operational improvement and implement best practices

Provide detailed feedback and solutions to franchise owners and corporate to improve workflow, labor efficiency, and profitability

Act as a mentor for franchisees, helping them scale their business

Share insights on profitability, pricing strategies, and team management

Stay updated on industry trends and bring innovation to our franchise network

Qualification

Required

Extensive experience leading artificial turf sales teams

Hands-on leadership — you enjoy coaching, training, and rolling up your sleeves to help people succeed

Strong communication & problem-solving skills — ability to explain complex processes in a simple, actionable way

Willingness to travel at least 25%-50% of the month

Proficiency in operational systems — experience with CRM tools, invoicing/scheduling software
