Corporate Accountant (Korean-English Bilingual)

They are seeking a Corporate Accountant who will be responsible for performing balance sheet account analysis, supporting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP principles.

Responsibilities

Perform balance sheet account analysis and reconciliation
Analyze revenue and expense accounts
Support special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
Perform month-end and year-end close using QuickBooks
Ensure all tasks are completed on time and all month-end reporting deadlines are met
Prepare and record accrual journal entries
Take ownership of assigned general ledger (GL) accounts and clearly explain variances
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP principles
Conduct monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc due diligence analyses to interpret period-over-period variances and detect potential misstatements in financial results
Work closely with external and internal auditors during quarterly, annual, or ad-hoc audits and reviews
Recommend, document, and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve workflows, systems, and processes
Communicate and collaborate with internal departments and external vendors on accounting-related matters
Perform additional special projects as directed by the Corporate Accounting Manager
Maintain excellent organizational skills with strong accuracy and attention to detail
Effectively manage conflicting priorities while maintaining a professional attitude and reliability
Post expenses using internal systems
Process accounts receivable and incoming payments in compliance with internal policies and procedures
Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, calculating, posting, and recording accounts receivable data

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
Minimum 4+ years of accounting experience, with strong general accounting experience required
Demonstrated ability to meet multiple internal and external deadlines under tight time constraints

Preferred

Ability to read, write, and speak both English and Korean (preferred)
1–2 years of public accounting experience preferred
Experience working with QuickBooks preferred
U.S. work authorization (preferred)
