Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or higher by the effective start date of the teaching position
Valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit upon hire
Enroll in a Teacher's Education Program if hired without completing one, and demonstrate active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements
Preferred
Valid Special Education license from the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board
Special education classroom experience in a K-12 school setting
Plan and facilitate Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings
