The Fixed Income Sales & Trading Intern will gain hands-on exposure to the trading environment, supporting client interactions and monitoring market activity.

Responsibilities
Shadowing Fixed Income coverage during live trading sessions
Monitoring real‑time activity in the Liquidnet system to understand bond and credit flows
Assisting with client requests and onboarding in collaboration with product support and legal teams
Supporting the Sales team with client performance analysis and reporting
Learning how Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) informs fixed income execution strategies
Contributing to desk‑specific projects that improve client engagement and trading efficiency
Conducting ad hoc analyses to investigate trading or operational issues
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and pursuing a bachelor's degree
Anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
Authorized to work in the United States (we do not offer visa sponsorship)
Relocate at own cost if applicable; Liquidnet does not provide relocation or housing assistance
Passionate about fixed income markets and client interaction
Strong communicators who can build relationships and collaborate effectively
Curious learners with analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
Adaptable and composed in fast‑changing, high‑pressure environments
Organized and detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple tasks with precision
Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Preferred
Familiarity with Bloomberg or market data tools is a plus
