They are seeking a Senior Executive Recruiter who will lead retained executive searches for finance and executive leadership roles, managing the full search lifecycle and providing a high-touch experience for clients and candidates.

Responsibilities
Lead retained executive searches for private equity and portfolio company clients
Work closely with the sourcing team to build and refine targeted pipelines of top-tier finance, operational, and executive leaders
Conduct in-depth candidate assessments to evaluate leadership, technical capability, and cultural alignment
Manage offer negotiations and ensure successful close and onboarding
Act as a strategic partner to clients, managing expectations and providing real-time market insight
Build deep relationships with investors and C-suite executives
Identify and share new client or search opportunities with the business development team—everyone in the firm contributes to growth
Deliver an exceptional, high-touch experience throughout every stage of the process
Manage multiple concurrent retained searches while maintaining impeccable quality
Ensure all searches meet firm standards for precision, speed, and client satisfaction
Collaborate with sourcing and research teams to maintain proactive, mapped candidate networks
Track key performance metrics and continuously improve process efficiency
Contribute to process development and refinement across the delivery function
Leverage tools such as Loxo, ZoomInfo, and AI platforms to enhance productivity and accuracy
Represent GVentures’ brand and values in every interaction
Qualification
Required
A seasoned executive recruiter with 5–10 years of retained search experience (no entry-level or contingent-only backgrounds)
Proven track record leading searches for finance, operational, and executive leadership roles (CFO, COO, Controller, VP Finance, and CEO)
Executive presence and communication skills that command credibility with investors and operators alike
Thrive in a high-autonomy, high-accountability remote environment
Detail-oriented, process-driven, emotionally intelligent, and relentless in follow-through
Deeply committed to excellence—you take pride in owning outcomes, not just activities
Preferred
Private equity or portfolio company experience strongly preferred
