Chatsworth Products is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician 2 to perform various quality assurance duties including parts inspection and process control verification. The role involves documenting inspection results, assisting the production team, and participating in continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities

Inspects manufactured, purchased and returned parts against drawings and other specifications

Arranges first article inspections and other special inspections

Monitors and audits operator inspection logs, statistical process control records, check lists etc

Manages the upkeep and calibration of measuring equipment such as gages and templates

Performs receiving inspection on a special event basis

Records inspection results in reports, logs, ERP, gage control software, supplier rejection forms etc

Performs process control evaluations

Provides quality assurance training for the Production Team

Assists with special inspection tasks

Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Qualification

Required

Minimum of three (3) years of quality assurance related experience

Broad working knowledge of statistical process control

Ability to navigate in CAD software programs

Intermediate Microsoft Office computer software experience

Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications

Advanced knowledge and use of measuring devices

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, carrying, stooping, and crouching

Lift up to 40 lbs

Preferred

Two (2) year college degree in a technical curriculum preferred
