Corporate Security Officer (2nd shift)

Responsibilities
Perform professional security services in support of daily operations at Haworth facilities, providing exceptional customer service to all Haworth customers
You will become a key member of the security team, taking initiative to identify and address potential security risks
You will conduct investigations and respond to incidents
Mental or emotional instabilities which may impair performance of essential job functions of security officer, or which may endanger lives of others, shall be investigated to determine extent and effect on job performance
Mental and emotional stability may be required to be assessed by licensed psychologist or psychiatrist
Monitors global fire, security, production alarm, and CCTV systems, and manages member badging and database updates
Responds to fires, medical emergencies, security actions, chemical spills, and natural disasters, securing facilities to minimize injury and loss
Maintains security of assets, members, contractors, and guests, verifying access authorizations to meet C-TPAT requirements
Operates security vehicles, assists members and guests with vehicle issues, and provides transportation for minor injuries
Supports management in policy administration, conducts investigations, and refers incidents for appropriate action
Conducts internal and external inspections, security audits, and ensures emergency equipment readiness
Conducts safety training programs, provides first aid and CPR, maintains security documentation, and audits security databases
Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation
Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment
Performs other duties within scope as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a security or law enforcement environment
Must have and be able to maintain a valid driver's license allowing them to drive in the State of Michigan, with an excellent driving record
Ability to work onsite in Holland, MI without relocation assistance
Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position
Preferred
Exposure to and working knowledge of card access, fire protection, CCTV, and building management systems
First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain after employment
Advanced medical response certification
Demonstrated customer service experience
College-level courses in technology security
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Industrial Security or Law Enforcement
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong PC and keyboard/mouse skills
